Auto accidents: Southern California is served by an extensive network of freeways, some of the busiest in the country. At any given time there are hundreds of thousands of vehicles traveling these roads which means that accidents are frequently occurring, resulting in injuries and deaths to motorists.

Brain and head injury: Brain and head injuries can be the result of a variety of causes: from a birth trauma or car accident to a slip and fall accident. Victims of these types of injuries may have brain damage which could cause them to lose some or even all of their cognitive, sensory, and/or motor capabilities — all devastating for the victim as well as his or her family.

Slip and fall accidents: A slip and fall injury occurs when a person falls to the ground and is injured as the result of a hazardous condition on public or private property. Victims of slip and fall accidents may be entitled to compensation, depending upon the circumstances surrounding the accident.

Wrongful death: When an individual loses his or her life due to the negligence or intentional act of another, it is referred to as a wrongful death. Premises liability: Property owners must make a reasonable effort when it comes to maintaining a safe, hazard-free environment for visitors. Failure to do so can result in a premise liability claim against a property owner for damages arising out of an injury.

Product liability: Each year millions of people are injured due to defective and/or dangerous products that make it into the marketplace despite consumer protection laws and improvements in manufacturing techniques.

Spinal cord injury: Researchers estimate that 17,730 new spinal cord injury cases happen each year and between 249,000 and 363,000 people are currently living with a spinal cord injury in the U.S. Victims and their families suffer both physically and emotionally, as well as financially.
